Palytoxin doesn't just get released for fun. Its released when you cut them wrong or boil rock endanger its life. If you poke it then it won't release anything. And if you frag it under water the chances are almost 0 of getting Ill. I have hundreds of these.
Yes. Most likely for lack of research. People see it and they're always pretty. And as always there's a little blame on the Lfs for just selling things and not informing People of what they're buying. Like a dory in a 20 long like the one I just rescued.
This kind of information would gave been great if provided in rhe article rather than the writer repeating the same thing.
