To all Canadians

It's a pain sorting through all the WTB threads!! There seems to be too many WTB threads when most of the stuff everyone is looking for is either in a LFS ,FS ad or can be bought from a Canadian vendor on this site. All the vendors on here can ship fish and if they don't have the fish currently in stock then try emailing them and ask them if you can get the fish you are looking for on their next import order. If they can't get it then most likely it isn't the season for it. Lots of exotics aren't available all year round so you may need to wait like everyone else!!!

it's not a pain for me to look at all the threads. :P there can be a chance that a local fishkeeper could be selling the fish you want.

I said the WTB threads are a pain for me!!!
If someone has a fish for sale then 99% of the time they will have posted a FS ad!
I have been keeping fish for 23yrs and never once have I looked at a WTB ad to see if I have fish I can sell someone.
WTB may be useful for a vendor so he can see what people are looking for but still doesn't mean they will order it. The best bet is to email them, make a commitment and then place an order or at the least you will get on their order list for a future import.

I guess it's a pain in the way the FS ads and free get buried by the WTB ads. For me a classified section should be just FS ads and FREE then another section by itself should be for WTB ads.

A little research and emailing will go a lot farther in getting that fish you wanted then posting a WTB.

MY BAD I was lazy twice>>>If I remember correct I have posted 2 WTB ads(one for pbass and then for a female leopoldi) in my life which led to not one reply nor the fish I wanted. I did a little research and emailing and found both.

well said. =)

People can post whatever they like. We put the WTB there so they can use it. Buying goes along with selling.
