Lesson learned today...
Was doing the wiring for the lights on the hood of my soon-to-be monster arowana tank. Got it all wired up, lights in, looked great!
Slapped it on the tank last night. put the lights on the timer, this morning they were on, and running great...
I reached into the tank the move a rock around and OUCH! I thought there was a screw or something stabbing me from the hood, so I inspected, saw nothing unusual and reached in again... again OUCH!!! FRACK I say to myself, I unplug the lights reach in and check again... no ouch this time, pull the hood off the tank and on one of the wire-ties there is a little bit of exposed wire that's dripping wet... lovely.
So, lesson learned, check your wiring, and make sure it's water-tight.
