checkered cory.

i was at the pet store 8 or so months ago. I got this fish labled cherkerd cory. is there a such thing because it doesn't have any scales just mucus? pics would help.Thanks

I'm curious about this, too, because my LFS has "checkered cory" fish for sale, and I can't find any info at all about them. This was the only thread that came up in all of Google! Maybe they're known by a different name? (After, LFS had "Endler's" listed as "Lender's."

To me they looked a lot like the peppered cory (paleatus?) in a nearby tank, but maybe the background color was a bit more golden.
