Hey All,
New to the site but not to fishkeeping. Looking forward to learning lots and meeting some new people.
My tank is a 125 Gallon freshwater with 2 Filstar Xp3 filters and a Koralia 4 pump.
I have had African Cichlids for years. We had a major heat wave not too long ago (unusually hot for the wet coast), and all my fish died due to the temp going up to 96 degrees while I was at work. So I stabalized the temp with a homeade chiller in order to keep the 2 loaches and 3 small sailfins from joining the rest....this was a new start for my fishkeeping.
Now I have a 7" Silver Arowana, 2-3.5" Silver Dollars, 2-6" Bala Sharks, 7" Geophagus, 7" Blacj Ghost Knife, 3-small Sailfin Plecos (survivors) and 2-small Clown Loaches (survivors).
Tank looks a bit different now as I too a fair amount of the slate out to allow for more swimming room. As the Aro gets bigger I will remove it bit by bit until I come up with something else that works for everyone.
So that's it for now.....thanks for lookin and I am sure we will be bumping into each other on these boards.
Cheers
Tim
