Alright, my checklist is finally coming together, and i wanted to share this work in progress with everyone.

CHECKLIST - - - - -
75g tank - bought
stand - Built.
fish (discus) - bought
driftwood - not all there yet.
filter - on its way (sun sun canister filter.
gravel/plants - yet to buy.
lights - bought

thats all i can think of for now, its been a big project for me to get this thing going, ive been planing it for a while, and im finally getting everything together. i actually just bought the lights and built the stand today, so i feel really tired right now here are some pics i took with my phone cuz i was in a rush, but definitly more to come soon.

there will be a big move because im planing to put the new 75g where my 55g is now, and move my 55g where my 45g is now lol. i was planning to take alot of pictures of the stand build and put it in the DIY stand forum, but i focused more on the actual build and i didnt have a camera on me either.

anyways, enjoy the low quality pics im puting up now, and there will be more soon (beter quality pics lol)!

sun sun canister filter i ordered, my friend uses it on his tank, and he ordered one for me.

some "decent" quality pics i took with my phone.

i got the filter and set it up as well, the tank has been running for over a week now, i put in some fish to cycle it a little faster, and get the bio load up and stuff. checked the water to my discus tank and my 75 recently, they are both very good and close in parameters, Ph was just .1 off from each other (7.2 ph in discus tank)

here are some pics from about a week ago. didnt have to good camera on me so i couldnt take anything good.

Enjoy, and ill get something better up here later, maybe by early next week if not by the weekend. =)

This was a few days after i set the 75 as a bear bottom, i started adding in gravel, and at the time it had a sponge filter running. (you can also see some of my other tanks =D the 55 and then the 45 far back. the two 10s under the 75 and t he 5g just sitting there lol.) and yes, as you can tell the ground is uneven in the basement lol.

put the gravel in lights turned off (timer) and its starting to look like a tank (somewhat) two of the angels in the 75 paired and layed eggs which did not survive, so i cleaned out the other 10 with the gravel and made it a BB just like the one next to it. now i have to pairs of angelfish. just gotta get a succesfull spawn =/. they keep on eating the eggs.:irked:

looking good, i am about to do the same type of thing, just picked up a 125 last night....gotta rework the stand and then get things going. Good luck!

^cool.

mines been up for a while now but i havent swithed my discus in the 75 yet because im going on vacation this summer for a month and im worried about the water changes since my parents are tanking care of it while im gone, so i left them in the smaller tank till after i come back so it would be easier for them to take care of it.
