there are alot of times when you can get them for $1 I never buy them though because I Have gotten 6 of them for free as of now and will probally get alot more in the future

If you want a common, just wait 10 minutes at a store. Someone will come in and just dump a 10"+ common.

Personally commons, are nothing I want to keep.

what kind of common. ive got to say, even though some regard them as ugly, most of the commonly called...well... commons have been very personable fish. cheap monsters too

I wouldn't consider commons ugly, but I sure wouldn't put them on the top of the pile.

i always consider them like oscars, some people love them, some people think they are ugly. they are for people that like personable fish over looks (obv. exceptions)

Tha is why they're coming into the store. Big commons, aren't too big, compared to some species of loricariids.

most are on the large size of loricariids, considering the amount of species there are in the first place
