Anyone here every had experience with Cherry or Green Hedges, whether they were good or bad?

I bought 3 of these guys just for the fun of it, if they die, then they die =D but If not Then Thats Great! =^___^=

I know these guys arent really aqutic plants, and should be grown in a pot with soil beside a winder outside water. However I have a few friends who kept these and their's have lasted a very long time for them, like around 6 months. They have florite and good lighting and all. And i know these guys demand high lighting.

There are some people also who had these plants for about 6 weeks and then they started dying.

Im pretty sure itz possible to grow and keep these guys in a tank, just maybe not as easy as true aqutic plants.. also, would be a cool idea if you use them to a semi aquatic/terristrial tank, where the bottom part of it is in the water in a pot with soil while the top part is above the water! like perhaps in an Amphibian tank or some sort =D

But any ways just Wondering, and Curious to here other peoples Experiences with these plants =^_^=
