Cheese Cake Factory : "Moist" Rice ???

Tonight is my 2nd time this week went to Cheesecake factory to get some food.

so i always order a "Wasabi Crusted Ahi Tuna" -( Fresh Rare Ahi Topped with a Spicy Wasabi Crust. Served with Julienne Vegetables, Miso Sauce and Rice.) for dinner....

When I saw the rice... I was :WHOA: ... so i ask the waiter...

Neo : What kind of rice is this?
Waiter : It's moist rice
Neo : I know what cooked rice look like.. there is no such thing call moist rice!!!

my guess is sticky rice over cooked

edit:this cheese cake factory a chain, because that really looks to me like uncle ben's ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww something a chain would have no issue using.

to cook perfect rice I was taught by a old chinese chef a trick and it works great, I went to someone from pakistan to school me on basimati
 
One of them probably added too much water and decided it would be a waste to throw it out, so they probably cooked it a bit longer to form that crust?
 
coming from a filipino house hold... they put way to much water haha. GROSS

BWAHAHAHA!!! Got to love how they screwed up on rice, didn't want to throw it away, so they coined a new name for it to make it sound interesting.
