Does anyone use this stuff? What were your results? Does it cause HITH?

I use Chemi-pure in all of my canister filters....I love the stuff...It lasts twice as long as regular carbon. I have been using it for the past 5 years, I have crystal clear water, and my parameters are just fine! The cause of HITH disease is an unclean tank, and poor breeding (inbreeding)

you need to change water once a week the least....thats why you have HITH...

and no it doesnt cause HITHD

chemipure is a resin not a carbon

Cool, it looked good from what I read but I was a little nervous that it was basicly carbon in fancy packaging. I have used carbon before and some of my fish showed early signs of HITH so suffice to say I didn't want carbon. Thanks for the help, I will try it.

ITS NOT CARBON!!!!!!!!!


the package does say to change every 4-6months

but i change out mine every 3 months

I don't use carbon any more but when I did thats all I would use
