Since no one is taking that Buttikoferi and I still dont have any room in my tanks.. I called a fish store and made a deal with them to give him up (also giving my Jack Dempsey in the process).

I do not really have anything better then a bucket to transfer the fish in... problem is that bucket is used whenever someone wash's the floors and is constantly have great amounts of toxic stuff like Pinesol in it.

Is there anyway I can wash this thing out to use to transfer the fish? I just left it in the tub right now with hot water puring in it for the past 10 minutes.

rinse, rinse, rinse and rinse.

rinse it and to be safe use 2 layers of heavy duty trash bags to line it with , it worked for me. or you can ask the LFS if they have a large enuff plastic bag that they have left over from feeder fish shippments

Stick a garbage back in the bucket, fill it with water, and boom, you are good to go.
