Never cared to much for them. a good filter and water changes works well for me.

Give it time and the bloom will take care of itself. That is the safest way.
 
using a coagulant is pretty safe in my experience, it's a rarity for me to use, but it will help and it is safe if used properly.
 
i havent used that one, but there are some pretty good ones out there if you look around

i support the use of chemical as long as you thoroughly understand the under lying cause of the problem, and the limitations of the chemicals.
