Anybody have them? Are they even available in the US? They look beastly. Any ideas on care, max size etc?

you mean like this one? i cant find them at all!! argh!! might have to just practise with other warm water crays(i currently raise cold water crays) then just find me an importer to bring them in.....hmmmm.... lol

Yea, I saw that picture but that one's a Cherax Destructor. This is my C.destructor. And if these are close enought to what you're looking for then you're in luck because they're for sale in several places although not as easy to find as most others :-)

I can find cherax destructors quite easily. R u sure the pic i posted is destructor? I find it listed as setosus. The claws are much shorter than destructor. I know im not great at IDin crays but that does not look like a destructor to me....

compare that pic to urs
the claws are very different. man we really could use our old cray guys(black sun and yabba) but they dissappeared

second is rotundus setosus. a smaller version.
both are unavailable in us. damn!! hopefully might be able to find an importer to bring them in ;)
im sure someone on here could do it ;) or could help find someone ;)
unless they r illegal which im tryin to find out
