Hello,

Last night I noticed that one of my cherry shrimp was berried, I told my roommate to come over and look. He tripped, hit the stand and the shrimp got startled and dropped all the eggs. Is there any chance for any of them surviving without being rotated and aggitated? Will the mother take them back up? Will they get eaten?

Thanks

They probably won't survive and they'll be eaten. They breed so prolificly it's not a big deal, just wait a bit and you'll have more.

Ok thanks. I was just kind of upset being they just reached breeding size... two of them atleast.

I can almost gaurantee she is already carrying more eggs. Look for a yellow "saddle" on her back, if you see one more eggs are def on the way. Dont worry, cherry shrimp are ALWAYS pregnant; p
