Welcome mr johnny!

Mfk is a great place to learn, share and ask questions! Great looking fish you have! What filtration do you run??

Also sand would look great in that tank, a lot of members use pool filter sand and its 8$ for 50lbs and looks great! Goodluck and have fun here :)

Thanks! I've been a member of mfks for a few months now, but this is the first time posting in this forum. I should have been more specific.

The gravel came with the tank. I bought it off a friend. I've thought about doing sand. It would definitely look better. lol The tank is a 60-65 gallon with a 48x12 foot print. I have a emperor 400 and a whisper 30 as filtration. It is a grow out tank with a 3" Managuensis which a friend is taking in a week or so, 1.5" male and female flowerhorns, a 1.5 female barred midas, and a 1.5" hopefully male Cuban.

Here's one of mine at about 5". I started off with five at about 3" and lost two to a breeding pair of convicts and one to a 4" dovii. The two I have left I believe are males they live in my 150gal with mostly mbunas.

That would be nice to get a pair. But that's when there supposed to get real nasty. Mine have never showed any aggression . Good luck.

Mine hasn't shown any aggression either. Which might be a good thing..lol I hope they paired up. They get awesome colors while breeding.
