Went on a day out to Chester Zoo, Northwest England recently, and took a few pics. Couldn't take many, because I didn't have a memory card for the camera at that time, and this was the maximum you could take.

But, nevertheless, Enjoy!

Thanks VF :)

It was closing time when I was taking that pic, but I got to spend 10 minutes in there. I've gotta say in that ten minutes I don't think I've watched such an intelligent reptile.
Just the way they look at you is enough to know their smart animals!

I agree, monitors are probably without a doubt the most intelligent reptiles on the planet.

Oh yeah, love the cheetah pic too! They're really neat cats.

I agree that I like the Komodo Dragon too. It almost looks like he's smiling at you. We had to go to Nashville Tennessee to see a komodo and pandas even thou we live in near Chicago and we have two fairly large zoos in the area. Finally last year they had an exzibit at the aquarium with komodos.

Komodo Dragons are only of those animals that look like they would be friendly, but :grinno:

Funny, I never really saw that until you mentioned it. Now I see it smiling too

I think the first pic of the Komodo is my fave. Unfortantely I had just missed an awesome tongue shot!
