Chicagoland Meet Up???

So after seeing how sweet the SoCal meet looks I am wondering if anyone in the Chicago land area would be down for having some kind of get together?

I have only met one person from MFK out here so far, cichlidkiller, but I think it would be awesome to have a good size get together. Even if we met up at someones crib or whatever. Anyway, just thought I would throw it out there, see if anyone else has interest.

Maybe some of you crazy Indy guys could come up to? MN and WI are not that far away either, if we do it on a Sat or something?

Yeah, I could make it down with a couple of other MFKer's possibly depending on the weekend. I wouldn't mind some fish swapping too. We talked a lot about doing a Chicago meet after the successful Minneapolis meet we had in January, then we just sort of forgot about it, there was quite a bit of interest at the time tho.
 
How many MFK'ers are there in the chicago area? I would say we should get someone thats been involved in a meet to help us out, someone that knows what are good ideas and what are not.

Anyone have ideas on things we could do?

I think if we were going to plan any kind of real meet it would have to be a couple of months away. In either case I think it would be a lot of fun.

Should we work towards something while it is still good weather out? Or should be start planning one for next year so we can do it in the summer time? I think that is when we would have the best turn out. Ideas?
