ive been fedding my rtc a little chicken every now and then it has been cooked is this wrong should i feed it to him raw ?

stick with fish food, animal meat is a no no.

heck no. not worng to me i use to feed me RtC raw beef for about 3months it just made the water stink like sewage! that is just about it. -one more thing, if you clean your filter with somthing like that it is very heavy. But i suggest that you should just stick with feeders instead.

I don't like ham, and I once fed my LMB the ham out of my Cordon Bleu. I haven't done anything like that since, but it was funny to see a fish eat ham.

Why would you feed your fish something that makes your tank smell really bad?

I wouldn't feed any mammalian or avain foods to your critters, even though some people feed hotdogs. The one exception is beefheart, thats ok for them. By cooking it, it isn't as nutritious as it was raw, but if it is raw, Sam and Ella can come over to play, and you don't want that.

i would like to see a pic or movie of a rtc eating a chicken :)

Hey stiffy, that would be nuts can you imagine the size the rtc would have to be, to eat a big chicken

If you feed chicken DO NOT COOK IT. It's completly depleating it's nutrional value. They will eat RAW meat, but even then use it as a treat, not as a staple.

A good size redtail would eat something the size of a chicken and keep looking for more.
