chiller for a 20 gallon

I am going to do a 20 gallon with a small 1g hob filter my house always stays around 80 degrees would I need a chiller

why would you need a chiller? what species are you keeping?

the water by default is going to be a little cooler than the air around it.

Nothing special I am just looking into all the things I need first just green clown gobys

no chiller required, those live in like 75-80 degree water lol, you'll be fine

If you were keeping a reef tank it would be more important to keep the temperature stable. If fish only, it can get as high as 84 degrees with minimal issues. On hot days, use a fan above the tank and it'll drop the temperature a few degrees. Good luck!
