I know I am posting a lot but want to keep my channa as happy as possible september is now warm my pulchara tank has gone up to 25c .I am thinking of getting a chiller I know they are expensive some one has a used one that was on a marine tank has any one used one on their set up are the easy to pulm in I am using a fluval 306 with those horrible hoses could get one by the weekend

25°c is top end of their temperature range. Pulchra will do ok at this temperature for a short while. Will it likely be that hot for long? The cooler should be OK if you clean it out thoroughly. I've never used a cooler, but it shouldn't be hard to plumber one in.

I bought my pulchra in june when it was very hot and have been struggling with the temps so was thinking of getting this chiller the owner has used it on a marine setup so will have to give it a good clean may not need it during the winter depends how mild the coming winter will be but come summer time may come in handy if we have a hot summer again

going to pick one up this weekend will give it a good clean as it was used in a marine tank

managed to pick up a dc750 second hand chiller will need some hoses and a pump to get it going will give it a good clean tomorrow as it came off a marine setup. Just saw one the most amazing things a moth was hovering around the side of the tank where my pulchra is maybe the lights attracted it the pulchra saw it was was trying to catch it through the glass made me smile luckily the lid was closed
