I wouldn't have high hopes for that cheap.
Looks like most of the reviews on Amazon are pretty poor. Very bad reliability.
Looks like it's a peltier cooler, which honestly I think there should be more of. Not the most efficient for cooling, but should be pretty efficient for heating.

Thanks, cooling is what I would need lol heating isnt an issue in Phoenix
I'd probably be tempted to buy it just to play with. See how it's set up, a peltier element by itself is pretty simple and reliable, just needs a 12v supply. I bet it's the electronics it uses for temperature control that are failing.
Chillers are usually super expensive.

My tank is in the basement, I don't use a chiller as the temp is naturally cool enough. I don't have experience with that brand, but I can say in my experiences, cheap equipment is usually cheap for a reason.
If you end up going that route, let us know how it works.
