Greets,

I'm currently in China, and i've seen dozens of various Asian Arrowanas. I would love to bring one back to go in a nice big home. However, if the risk to reward is just not worth it, then I don't even want to bother. Anyways, does anyone know anything about shipping from China; or what bringing an arrowana back from China would entail? I know they are protected and illegal which is a caveat as is. ugh. I just want to know if this is possible. i'm looking for accurate information please. thanks all

hiya,

Also, if it's doable to bring a few back, i'd be willing to bring back a couple extras for interested people. I've seen golds and reds from 6" to 28" and flawless. they range in price from $10 to $1000 (huge flawless red). Prices are negotiable in China as well.

thanks

Hi dude..welcome to MFK...

Just a few pointers, when you say 'bring back', you are saying bringing Asian Aros into the US? If thats the case, then tough luck and MFK do not endorse illegal buy/sell activities in our site.

Also, there is alot of room for doubt in your posting. $10 for red or gold asians? flawless? this is highly highly impossible. Maybe the aros you have are not even tagged?

So, please pay attention not to endorse or instill black market activites in MFK. Thanks.

I know it's very tempting but if you are caught, you will be arrested, fined, and very very possibly jailed for bringing a federally restricted animal back.

The cost of the fine will cost a lot more than the cost of the fish also.
