I dont want to blanch veggies everyday to feed them. My tank has ran out of algae to feed them, and i have algae pellets but they fall in between the gravel and the kuhlis end ip gettin em, or my other fish. They just dont seem to notice the food i put in there like the other fish do (which swim right to the pellets). What do i do? i cant get em to see the food. ive tried to get the pellets wet and ball em up into a boucy ball like size and my other fish destroy em and my algae eaters dont see a thing.

yeah sorry i didnt know what to put it under, are all suckerfish plecos?

all pleco are catfish, but chinese algae eater is loach!! try algae wafers, most fish don't like to eat those but pleco and algae eater do!

yeah i put 2 wafers in, my other fish usually leave em alone, i wake up in the morning and they're gone, im asuming thats the CAE

My fox in guppy fry tank used to eat wafers, but then stopped. He know refuses any food and only eats the algae on panes at night. I reckon he'll come around. They wont let themselves starve if food is offered. My other fox in community even eats flake food.
But if you are really worried try mixing crushed wafer with egg-white, you can also add flakes if you want, and then spread the mixture on a clean flat rock and dry it in the sun. This worked for my pleco, just make sure he always has hiding spot e.g cave etc.
