It is hard to believe!!!...except for the fact that they can take over 10 years to grow that big.

Hi there- I'm relatively new to the group and this is my first posting. I had to jump in when I saw a current discussion aboutr the Chinese Hi Fin. I have been a big fan of Hi Fins for years and presently have 4 3inch, 4 8 inch, 1 11 inch, 2 13 inch, 1 15 inch, 1 16 inch and my largest which is approximately 24-26 inches. These measurements are from the last time I took them all out of the pond to measure them. I have these in my pond which I dug and built myself by hand. I am hoping to eventually be able to house them in an indoor aquarium which I will have help building. If I can afford it, and if I can find willing and able builders, I would like to convert a room to the construction of a giant tank. (Giant for me anyways). I am still pricing equipment and seeing how it will fit into the budget. Also considering many DIY ideas. For now, the Hi Fins are in the pond waiting to be viewed in an aquarium. I will be draining the pond for repairs over the next few days and will take pictures to post of my Hi Fins. I'll be looking forward to seeing them again and hope that you all don't mind me posting the pictures. Thanks for reading this and I hope to see a load more people taking interest in these beautiful fish.
