Here are some pix of the chinese perch i got a few days ago. Sorry for the quality of the pix. Not a very good camera lol.

ill try to post some better ones later on. gotta get a better camera. Also theres no lighting in that tank.
 
I cant tell from your pics, but does he have any maroon/red color on him?
 
Hard to tell by the pics, but they look like lates calcarifer's, barramundi, not siniperca chautsi.......

I'm going to have to agree with you. I picked up a perch at my lfs and they were calling it a chinese white perch. I looked at pics of perch on the net and the closest thing to what I got is the barramundi. Plus my perch has a big ol white stripe running down his nose. I was happy none the less I've been wanting to get a barramundi.:drool:

No he does not have maroon on him just a sort of gray color all over with sort of white striping especially a white stripe that goes along the top of the fish starting from the tip of the mouth to the tail. yea i know the pics are not too good but thats a cheap camera for ya.
 
it might be a barramundi but it was labled as chinese perch. If it is a barramundi, is 15$ still a good price for the 3 of them?
