Chinese perch.. what are you feeding?

1. What is everyone feeding them?

2. How many of us successfully got theirs on prepared?


I'm still on rosey reds.. Tried starving for a day then shrimp, and starving for a day then bloodworms. Mine must be the most stubborn sob's ever..

Mine are eating small goldfish. I haven't tried to get them off yet. I was waiting til they were a lot bigger and not so aggressive with eachother. Well I don't know if that will ever happen.

I realize that but these guys are still small only like 3-4" so I dont think I'd go as far as 3 weeks at this point.

Mine likes to charge earthworms when I drop them in the tank,but they wont yet eat them,they stare at em then move on.

I picked one of these up at the store and it wont eat right now. Tried flakes, bloodworms and even a fly. Called the pet store to ask what they were feeding him, and they told me guppies. I'd really like to have this fish eat a variety but I dont know how to even force it to accept different foods. Its little too like 3 inch.

Just Rosey's I don't think I will even attempt prep foods till they are 5-6"

Yeah just figured I'd try early to save me from the LFS rosey red runs.. I'm gonna try no food for two days and see if that gets me anywhere.. after that back to roseys..
