Hi,

I think i made a mistake. I have a community tank with zebra danio and gold barb. I got myself an albino Gyrinocheilus aymonieri because it was recommended to get one for your tank. Little did i know that it gets to be one feet and that it will eventually kill my small fish. They market those as beginner fish.

So did i really made a mistake. Honestly i am not sure if it's an albino otto or a chiness algae eater that they sold me.

So you got an actual albino CAE????? That's awesome! They will be fine with small fishes especially barbs and danios...it's slow-moving larger fish are in danger from CAE. Tho CAE can get up to 1 foot long, it's rare for them to reach that size as the average size is between 5-7" in most cases.
