Chocolate and GT crossbreeding?

Is that possible? My chocolate has been laying eggs, although none have hatched thanks to a hungry pleco. BUT...can a male GT and a female Chocolate breed?

Has the GT been part of the pair?

And it's unlikely being 2 genera.

Its possible, as stranger things have happened. My severum male would breed with my female salvini....the farthest I ever let them get was wrigglers. Not really a good idea to let them breed, so I wouldn't encourage it. Either get the chocolate a mate, or remove the GT. We have enough 'parrot' like cichlids in the hobby...lol.

Breed? Of course they can.

Will the eggs become fertilized? I doubt it.
