Chocolate Cichlid info

Hey everyone, I have the opportunity to buy a large chocolate cichlid from my lfs. Does anyone know much about these cichlids? Any pics would also be appreciated since I have not seen this fish yet. I have done some research but I wanted to hear what you guys had to say.

The link above will take you to a general profile. I've never kept them but they look cool and are supposedly peaceful. I've read about them in Baench's aquarium atlas and could look up more info when I get home...I'm at work right now. The pics in the atlas are different from those on www.cichlid-forum.com

they are similar to Oscars. Most are pretty mellow but as with all cichlids you never know what kind of temperment you are going to get. They max out around 12".I think they look really cool and they change color alot more then a lot of cichlids. They have quite a bit of personalty and if you get a breeding pair they are just awesome. They are a nice alternative to teh oscars, JDs, convicts that you see everyday.

watch out chocolat tend to disaper in the hot sun seriously why a lot here and in some other forum from usa seems to be unnable to use the real fish name??? wolf cichlid,chocolat,jewel,5 stars,after wath? cookie cichlid
