Chocolate cichlid x synspilum?

Oops! False alarm. Both parents are chocolate cichlids, but only the father was shown.

That would have been a first in my book if chocolate cichlids had been able to breed successfully with Central Americans. It would have made some interesting and possibly beautiful offspring too.

He said the vieja is a hartwegi. I thought it didn't look right for a synspilum.
