I hope this is the correct forum for this. Back when I had my tank I don't remember chocolate cichlids. I remember a morph of oscar called a chocolate oscar (looked like a tiger with tan stripes instead of orange) but not a chocolate cichlid. Where are they from? What do they look like? Anyone have a pic? How big do they get? oh and how aggressive are they?

The 'Chocolate cichlid' is South American fish, Hypselecara temporalis:

I read an article about them awhile ago. There's a pet store about 20 miles away that sells them from where I live. The only thing I can remeber about them from the article is that they are one of the largest cichlids you can keep in captivity and they aggression is pretty docile for a cichlid. Their coloration is brown (chocolate) and they have red eyes.
