Does anyone have pics of there chocolate plecos when theyve gotten bigger? Ive heard they lighten in color and was wondering if thats true.

GEV83;4475499; said:Albino Chocolates and Regular Chocolates look different. Chocolate pleco's are actually Pterygoplichthys scrophus. There also know as Rhino Pleco's and when full grown still maintain there dark coloration. Also P. Scrophus has a notch on its head just like P. gibbiceps and P. joselimaianus but the albino chocolate does not. Albino chocolates actually remind me more of P. pardalis but albino-ish form. I think some just tacked the name chocolate pleco to it due to its color and it got mixed up with the other chocolate pleco/rhino pleco.
Thats why I hate common names sometimes. They make my head hurt.
