Chocolate sex

can anyone tell me what sex this chocolate cichlid is, its about 9 or 10 inches long

not sure on sex but he looks like he has a bad case of HITH (you probably knew this just wanted to point it out just in case)

i actually dont think its HITH, he was like that when i got him, or her and hasnt changed

oh really? how long have you had him/her? i wonder what it is then, looks like HITH to me but if hes been with you awhile in good water conditions then it should have gotten better... either way hopefully someone will chime in to help figure out what sex it is maybe you could try venting him/her though i always hate doing that it seems to stress the fish out to much for my liking

Well i have 2 one is a 7-8" and the other is around 9",the only way i can tell that i have 2 males is that they are both starting to form thier "Cichlid "Humps" at this size is yours forming thiers yet??If not then you have females.
