I am looking for people with experience of breeding electric blue crayfish and crystal red shrimp. This will be my first invtebrate breed. I am looking for which would be easier or would be more benificial for me to learn. Cost may be a problem. I will use a 30 gallon to house the pair. And probly a 20 for the fry. And 10 quarintine. I am looking for anyone with any advice. Oh and one last thing. I will be planting both tanks.

someone....anyone......im so cold.....

comeon peoples ill take ur 2 cents it will all add up in the end....

I have never bred blue cray fish but if you but a bunch of CRS in a 30g they should multiply like crazy! But I do think it would be cool to breed Electric Blue Crayfish

Yea i think the blues would be cool and fun and sold i could make probly 10$-15$ the lfs sells them for 30.00....

Can u answer me this? Docrayfish start to smell bad while keeping them??

no they dont start to smell bad??? for the crayfish you would need to find a fertile female. most pet stores dont want to get rid of their fertile females so good luck on finding one. crs will be easier for you to breed IMO. instead of a pair of crystal reds try 15 or 20 in a 30 g

Ok i just heard they start to smell bad im leaning towards crays cause i like them.

does anyone know how to sex crayfish? i heard male is bigger then female? and females have more narrow claws

shrimp don't smell. Neither do crayfish unless you have crappy water quality. Shrimp are nice as they are not territorial or agressive.
