im moving out all my "aggresive fish" into my new monster tanks 125, 100 and 55, so that leaves my severums which have already showed signs of breeding just wondering what non cichlids i could keep with this pair in a 75, mostly to have as dithers but i w ant this tank to look alive since it will be the one in my room, any suggestions, rainbowfish are a little to expensive for my liking :irked:
im not to good at community tanks so a little brainstorming from people would help

Silver dollars, larger barb species(Filamentosas, melons, etc), giant danios, larger tetras like Buenos Aires......

i was thinking about getting a school of corys for the bottom about 6, would that work out better than plecos?

Cory cats could be too small, a shoal of pictus would be nice though.

how many could i do im not very knowledgable about catfish i know pictus get around to be 8 inches or so so i could do 2 or 4, the main focus is on the severums which ill be breeding with some tinfoil barbs i think,
and into the 125 go red bay snooks !!!

I think pictus would be fairly adept at picking off young fry, especially at night. Their max size is about 4.5"-5".

You can probably slip a male GT in there along with the following.

Tinfoil barbs are cool but they have potential to get big.

Clown loaches
Giant Danios
I really like the Synodontis catfishes
maybe a gibbicep aka sailfin pleco
bala sharks are cool

I would steer clear of Silver Dollars i found them very skittish, As for GT i've had one for around a month and he's a nasty b**tard. Kickin the crap out of my salvini completly relentless.
