Hi everyone,
I am looking to add a top level swimmer (One) in my tank and I'm asking for some suggestions/feedback.
Current setup: 125 gallons (72x24x18) with (2) Cascade 1500 canisters.
Existing stock (coexisting peacefully):
(1) 12" "south american" gar fully grown (see my avatar pic), 2 hoplo cats, (2) 5" NTTs, 1 jureanse cat, (1) 8" L014 Pleco, (2) 3" (fully grown) Honduras red spot , (1) 10" female flowerhorn, (1) 6" female JD.
Silver Aro is out of questions due to size, Jardini due to agression, African Aro due to feeding habits and Asian due to feds
I am inclined to get a juvenile black aro, considering that eventually I will upgrade in 2 yrs. to 265 gallons (can't do it earlier due to moving reasons) .
What do you think about adding the black aro and most important, what other top swimmers would you recommend?
All input will be appreciated.
Thanks

black aros get to the same size as silver aros but they tend to grow a little slower. but eventually they both reach the same size. hujeta grow really really slowly.evertually the aro will outgrow the hujeta and it will be food.
