choker chains on dogs?

depends how hard do you yank it(hopefully not at all). i remember the collars that had spikes in them.

i dont use them but im big enough to control basically any dog. i think the chains are better then somebody losing control of there dog.

If used properly for its intended purpose, they're fine for training. There are a few different type of chokers also. I prefer not to use them though.
i have 2 fully trained rotties 125+ lbs n they have their chokers on 24/7. it depends on the breed mine r great and friendly and i have had rotties for the last 16 years of my life but i still wouldnt trust them without one...

i use choke chain on all my dog even a puppy but i use the kind that look like a chain not the one that have spike to the neck that kind would b cruel
pinch collars for training choke collars for just whatever, but never use the choke just put it on the dead ring. using the choke collars damage your dogs 100000x more than pinch if your actually choking/strangling your dog due to lack of oxygen. pinch collars dont hurt your dogs, just get their attention.
