If you ever want to or have to dissasemble a glass tank Do Not I repeat Do Not use a Sheetrock knife blade. There to thick to ease into the seam between the glass.

I figured this out today with my 10 gal tear down. Only lost a total of bout 1 Pane an a lil more due to cracks an chipping. All can still be used though.

what is a sheetrock blade? are you talking about a standard utility/ razor knife blade, if so i use them to cut out caulking all the time. pull apart while cutting works great.
