Hi,

When you choose a delhezi what is a more sought after pattern? Lots of stripes that are wide? I have been looking in the UK for a while now, most are around 6" and most probably CB, not that I can tell but most Lfs has them around this size. Best I have come across is the one in the attached pic (del on the right). How do you tell WC or CB?

It's really whatever floats your boat. I would probably pick between the dark gray one in the middle, that's under the ropefish in the first pic, or the one that's swimming around. I'd probably end up getting the one that's swimming around. There's a lot of things you can try and look for in dels, I usually look for symmetry and wide bands. You could also look for activity, base color, if they dig, or if they fit under the category of "royal tiger."

First pic one on the right and second pic the one swimming is same fish. I came across these on the Internet and they look amazing!

I like dark fat bands on my dels. I found they're all active and solid black bands once acclimated to a nice planted tank with dark shaded areas.
I hate seeing a pile bichirs stacked on top of each other in a bare tank.
