i want a cool looking tank i want driftwood and some cool plants what kind of substrate should i use i don't want to spend a lot so please tell what will look cool and the price is cool thanks.... oh yea its a 125 g

flourite for a 125... thats like $250+ for some flat peagravel... (ive got it in my 55 planted... sooooo not worth it.. looks nice.. but.. its friggin broken rocks...)

driftwood.. well thats an easy one.. just find what you like..
as for substrate and plants... ... ... do you plan on keeping fish as well? if so what kind..

generaly speaking.. pea gravel from homedepot/lowes or sand from the pool supply store are the cheapest ways to go..
if you like colored gravel the LFS or petstore is the way to go.. ordering it online is cheaper on the surface but shipping will kill it..

for plants.. i like hornwort (its soft bushy floating plant that grows like crazy)
java moss is another fav.. its a thicker dark green plant.. it sorta looks like a pile of yarn..
anubias is another plant i like.. theres a few different types...
water wisteria is also pretty rad looking..

theres only about a million options.. if you have some idea of what you think you might like we can give you some ideas in the right direction...

i have a silver aro.. and getting some pbass orino
