**Christmas Cookie Recipe Thread 2009**

Hello.... I am baking christmas cookies for some people that I know and I need some recipes. Chocolate chip cookies, Pb cookies, sugar, etc.., Post up what you have... I will post mine first....
Butter Blend Chocolate chip cookies
350 oven
Ingredients:
1 lb Butter blend (4 sticks of butter or margarine)
2 c Light brown sugar
11/2 c white sugar
3 eggs
2 T vanilla
6 c flour
1 T baking soda
1 T salt
13/4 c chocolate chips
Procedure:
1. Cream butter, white and brown sugar together until fluffy.
2. Add eggs and vanilla. Blend well.
3. Sift dry ingredients together.
4. Add to butter mixture and blend well.
5. Add chocolate chips.
6. Bake for about 12 mins or until golden brown.
7. Once taken out of oven let cool for 3-5 mins then take them out of cookie sheet .

No Bake Cookies
The mother of ALL cookies.

2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup milk
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
Pinch of salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 tablespoons peanut butter
3 cups quick oats

1. In large saucepan, combine sugar, butter, milk, cocoa and salt. Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring frequently. Continue boiling 3 minutes, stirring frequently.
2. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and peanut butter; stirring until peanut butter is melted. Add oats and mix well.
3. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto waxed paper. Let stand until firm. Store tightly covered.

That's it. It's done. That's all you need. Thread closed. Nothing tops No-Bakes.

Your freakin' right they sound good! These cookies are awesome. Trust me. They are cheap and VERY easy to make. Oh god they're sooo good.

Also, some people like to add a bit of coconut to the mix. I dont. But figured I'd throw that out there.
