Just bought a pair from my LFS, the owner pointed out a male and a female he said were starting to pair off. Sure enough, 10 days later the male is carrying eggs in his mouth.

Now, I've never bred fish before so I have no idea how to do this. I know they are bi-parental mouth brooders, but know little else on the fish.

Any pointers for raising the fry as well as any input on the fish would be appreciated.

some pics might help :grinno:

We Put are 2 Red Zebra africans Babies in a Diffrent tank after the first batch but they had them with all the oter africans then we scooped them out into a 20XH tank. Then We just feed them MINI Cichlid Graulets and Crushed flakes and they did fine. All that was in the Tank was them & a whip Tail Cat till they got 3/4" then the parents Had more Babyies took the Previous babyies that where 1" to the LFS Put the new ones in the tank with the old and the parents. So it worked out i guess. I dunno how differnt your fish will be but that is how mine did it sooo GL with that Hope this Info Helped.
