Ok I know many know and have witnessed "The Great Egg Swap"!!

This is however my first time witnessing this event!!

So.... This is one of the most awesome things I have seen with Spawning fish!!

I went out and it looked like the female had Abandoned the Spawn site and left half the eggs in it... That's when the Cool Biz happened!! Right in front of my eyes!!!


She zoomed back over to the eggs plucked 3-5 off the Freakin wall and Went and dumped them in the pit she was sitting by when I first came out and noticed!!!

Is that Awesome or what!!!

To top it off... I got it all on video from pre spawn all the way to this event in short clips No vid yet but will post after I get the rest of what I want on it completed

Even more awesome was right in the middle when I came out with the camera.. The female shot over to the male nailed him in the side if I remember correctly... And he then shot over to the Pit and Guarded while she went and plucked more eggs off the wall and delivered them to the pit as it was guarded!!

So exciting!!

I had a con pair that stole fry from a smaller con pair. The funny thing is, is that it was a pink pair, and a normal pair...The normals raised (stolen) pink fry....Cool indeed.

They have moved them 3 times now

Ok So they moved them about 8 times... And now that they are free swimming.. Not all but most.. They have moved them again The female keeps running off patrolling the tank for those that may be next to the filter... And Dragging them back....

This is beginning to be another excellent experience
