**Chrysichthys Update**

this lil guy has grown about an inch if not a little less in about a month and a half. here are some pics, tell me what you think of him!
he's 2" SL by the way.

He looks a bit like the mystery one i got for free when i bought my tig recently,but the nearest mfk and pcf got was a rhamdia,il try and find my post to compare.

thanks. on planetcatfish we thought we had i.d.d it as chrysichthys polli which only gets 6" but with the fast growth rate i doubt hes maxing out at 6"..

Think 12" is about the max you will get with this i had one for years and never got bigger than a foot. think some of the sizes on PC need a revision but wouldn't surprise me that these get to that size in Tanganyika or could be confused with other sp?

seems like all the species in this genus are VERY easily confused with each other when small. im guessing i will be able to get the right i.d. on him when hes 4" or so and more developed. whatever he turns out to be ill be quite surprised!
