Anyone ever keep these guys? I'm getting the itch to restock my tank with some new fish and they've caught my eye. Any idea on their aggression? Below is what i currently have in the tank. May be getting rid of the Lyonsi and Robertsoni

2 Female Lyonsi
3 Cutteri
3 Pasiones
3 Robertsoni
2 Sajica
1 Panamensis

They are nice fish and would be a nice addition. But I would not get rid of those Lyonsi. They are not seen much and are endangered. I regret that I ever got rid of mine

Why is it that you believe you have two females now? Consensus seemed to be male and female based on the vent pics.

Take care with the protein when feeding your Micropthalmus. I'm assuming you got yours from Rapps? Anyway they are great fish but mine were a bit aggressive so you might have to watch them.

What are you currently feeding yours? How many do you have? Are they aggressive towards each other. Mine seem to be pretty chill towards one other aside from the normal chasing you see with any other cichlid.

I don't have mine anymore. I had a group and they were all killed off my 1 male. Eventually I sold my remaining male after an exhuasting search for a female. He was pretty aggressive and I tried several fish with him in hopes of having some type of community tank. I would try them again if I had the tank space for them. I thought they were a rather challanging spieces. They seem to be really aggressive with each other.

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully i'll have better luck with mine and get a solid pair from the group. How big was he before you let him go? What was their growth rate like? Sorry for all the questions but it seems like you're the only other person on here besides Mo that's kept them.
