I have had peacocks in the past but back then I wasnt aware that there were soo many different types.I am wondering if the different types display different behavior,is one more aggressive and active than the others or are they pretty much the same .

I'll let the experts answer this, but most are about the same with pinima and temensis and sometimes orinos generally a little more aggressive. but I don't have much experience. I would venture to say that a lot depends on their individual personalities like all cichlids. I did have a 4" orino kill a 2.5-3" ocel.
about Orinos being aggressive, I have never kept a Temensis but I hear they can be real brutes as well. Temensis also grow really fast.
