Cichla , brown basalik lizard, bleekeri

come days the cichlas bars are realy dark and the reds are so bright other days he seems pale bars wont be so dark reds sim less. I duno why. I wana say it depends on where hes chillen in the tank. But havent been able to pin the reason down. I do no when he hangs in the deep end of the tank he has darker markings useualy. But he only goes deep when bad weather is comeing,

curent stock is.
pair of salvini females small maybe 2 and a half inchs, males around 4 inchs maybe little bigger
1 bleekeri or atleast it was bought as bleekeri suspecting its polleni
1 cichla
1 jurense catfish
there was 4 loachs yoyo and burmese but i havent seen them in few days think the catfish gotem.
got like 6 to 8 goldfish in there cichla and catfish get them when they needem. I try geting roseys and some large goldfish when i buy feeders. they tear the roseys up goldfish seem to last longer. more filling. I feed omega1 pellets and when i dump 10 bucks of medium crickets in for the lizard crickets always get plucked off by the fish.
Originaly i had a xp3 and ehiem pro 2 knockoff on the tank now i have two ehiem pro 2 filters , the ehiem knockoff. 2 power heads ones a internal fluval filter powerhead and other one has a sponge atached. One of the filters sprays on the waterfall i figure the water flowing down the falls helps create more oxygen in the water. Lighting consists of three floodlights 5 foot above the water and two florecent tubes . the floods are the type for reptiles. i also have a small floodlight in my cieling fan that is aimed at the middle of the tank that lights it up under the waterfall

ummmmm did u realy say 50 gal?
The setup is 6 and a half feet long 7 foot tall 2 foot deep. Bottom is between 135 and 150 gall
i have my doughts..
So that makes it 78"x24"x??? and theres that ledge thing.. did you take that into consideration?

edgeing thing what are you talking about? the bottom again is 24 inchs front to back one side is deeper then the other side. When and if the cichla does get to big for the setup. I will have a 240 or larger setup by then. But i honestly dont see it happening in the next year. The fish out growing the tank that is.
