My Ocel has been a little dull lately and it just hit me that the only thing I have changed is the amount of time my lights are on per day( Timer was set shorter to cut down on algae on the glass ). Has anyone noticed a decrease in color when their bass get less light?

I have set the timer back so we will see what happens

i recently cut back on the lighting times on my orinos..i use to turn it on at 8am untill 9pm but now have it 11am to 8pm and it seems thier colors are coming out more..

Same here! I took an hour off each end of my lighting schedule, now it's 9am-6pm and my 7 juvy pbass have more defined patterns and colors!

My timer was set for 4pm to 11pm, maybe i should increase my time and see what happens..............
