Cichla Finally Bred

So last night all last night my male and female monos where cleaning rocks. Here tube was down alot, and his was up and down. Went inside to eat (fatty) and came out to find this, this was about 5:30pm and they got down at about 3am. But he did fertalize from what I can see. So heres a pic of the eggs on one of the rocks. But i have some questions. How long till I get some wiggelers, and what is the safest way to transport the rock to a differant tank??

ditto..3 days will have turned gray with eyes popping out and 4th day the fry/egg will be bouncing off the bottom.

I wouldn't attempt to move the rock until at least day 3 when your sure the eggs are good.
 
Ok so let me get this straight. in 3days thet will turn gray(which is good right?) and then the eyes will come out and then the 4th day they will start to wiggle?
 
congrats! here in Brasil, i met only 2 guys how take babys from Cichla!!! it`s one of my dreams to wake up and see this :)


it was only C. kelberi..... can u email me ou mensage me about your tank? sise, filtration and every thing? I`m with a tank 200x70x75cm, how many Cichlas u think i can have in that? what the age of your fishes?

yes there are the female laid about 5 or 6 times till he decided that he should do something. Are hormones the same with pbass and humans. haha I know if I was him and she laid 5 or 6 times I would hav been all over all 5 or 6 times;). but only time will tell to really see. This sould be a really long 3 days:D. But I will be a proud father for a couple weeks then have to sell some as the weeks go. But its the way of life right?? Then I was thinking on keeping all the hatched ones then put them in the 900 gallon DIY Plywood build? thanks guys. Hey Leeo post pics of ur fish. And if anyone has pics of there pbass breeding plz post. Thanks so much again guys.
