Cichla Flaring

orinos are looking bad ass!
 
thanks man, the orinos are sweet. I am trying to make room for them in the big tank, but nothin so far. The azul's tail is still growing back.

The dominant orino and the azul lip lock, and they are crazy. The monos fight only between each other.

I had a new light going, but the bulb blew 2 days after I got it. Right now I just have a coralife colormax bulb.
 
looken real good fish master that azul is looken better from what i see.hows his tail doin.oops you answered my question already.yours rio metas?
 
Thanks, the Azuls tail is taking longer than I thought. I just have to feed him more and change the water more. He is no longer skitish though.

In person, he has TONS of spangling just waiting to pop out. His bottom half should look like my orinos spangles, but just white spangles.

Ya, they are rio metas, and I love them soooo much. They are so awesome in color and personality!!!

Have you guys seen my awesome pleco that makes the tank dirty. He poops constantly!!! But he looks awesome!!! He eats pellets like the cichla do.
 
so is this normal I have two peacocks grown up since about an inch long had them bout 3 years maybe a lil less but they all of the sudden fight like crazy thought might be a mating thing but guy a LFS says they must be 2 males going for dominance is this true? one is twice the size of the other had them in a 75 gallon for 1st and 2nd year n now they r in my 210gal. ever since my 2 foot silver arrowana jumped out of my tank christmas morning he has been picking on the little one no stop should i get ride of the bigger one?
